Sarah Evans

Sarah Evans has a business background in finance, management consulting and education.  She has a mix of university degrees from Oxford, Western School of Business, in Canada, and University of Hong Kong in a range of subject areas from management, economics to psychology.  In 2006, she founded Westside School, which is now an academy in Hammersmith, giving 13-16 year old excluded youth a chance to get back on track and obtain their GCSEs.  Almost all Westside students are on Free School Meals, most have learning issues, some are Looked After Children.  Westside has a graduate attending Sixth Form in a state boarding school thanks to a SpringBoard bursary, with another planning to go to the same school next year.  Many other alumni are successfully at colleges, two at university, and some now working as trade apprentices.
