Become a SpringBoard school
Is your school a state or an independent boarding school in the UK?
“Yes”: your school may apply to SpringBoard for accreditation. A school accredited by SpringBoard is a SpringBoard School.
What is SpringBoard accreditation?
A nationally recognised standard showing the quality and depth of pastoral care and support a school provides. Our Schools’ Handbook contains guidance on accreditation and is available on request to interested schools. In summary:
we review your school’s most recent inspection reports
you complete our School Self-Assessment form
we visit your school
you (a relevant member of staff) attend our training day.
For SpringBoard Schools to maintain accreditation, we repeat the first 3 steps every 3 years. We also encourage all SpringBoard Schools to attend our annual training.
Schools pay an accreditation fee, which is payable in annual instalments. Each accredited school also pays an administration fee per SpringBoard pupil placed with it.
